In this episode, Veronique is passionate about the emerging science-based necessity for supporting Olfactory Wellness and her passion for sustainability through the lens of her Economics and Political Science education. CandaScent Labs is a health and wellness aroma brand with a collection of products built to promote whole-body wellness through the olfactory system.

Dr. Susan Trapp - Chief Scientific Officer
Dr. Susan Trapp is a 20-year biotechnology expert and plant-microbe bioscientist, and has held several roles in academia, government, and early-stage development within the biotech industry. Her scientific career took off after working alongside Dr. Craig Venter, a well-respected scientist renowned for mapping and sequencing the Human Genome, which introduced a new era of medicine and advanced the field of DNA technology substantially. As our Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Trapp facilitates our use of sound science to formulate aromas for health and wellness.
CandaScent Labs is proud to support Airmid Institute
A 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the global education, research, and sustainable management of medicinal and aromatic plants. They aim to develop, implement, and support projects and education focused on facilitating knowledge-sharing about aromatic plant medicine among healers worldwide, ethical sourcing of plant extracts, sustainable harvesting methods and distillation, and on the execution of clinical research of novel aromatic oils/extracts. They also help to protect and promote uses of traditional medicine in Indigenous communities.
